The Holidays
Hi I am Kylee and today I am going to be talking to you about my favorite three holidays. The first holiday I am going to talk about is Christmas. We celebrate Christmas because that is when Jesus was born. Sometimes we do not think of Christmas as celebrating Jesus´s birthday, we think of it as Santa coming to our houses and giving us presents on Christmas Eve night and on Christmas morning we have presents sitting under the tree. Every year my grandma and grandpa come down on Christmas Eve and gives us presents. When we wake up in the morning on Christmas, we go to the Christmas tree and we see presents sitting under the tree. Then we have some hot chocolate and open our presents with our parents and grandparents. After my grandparents leave we clean the house up from all of the wrapping paper and then we sit in front of the fir and have some more hot chocolate. This is what i do every year on Christmas. The next holiday I am going to talk to you about is Halloween. Halloween is celebrated because it is the roots of the age – old European traditions. Halloween is originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. For Halloween every year me and my family dress up. This year my sister, my dad, and me all dressed up as a super hero. My sister was Captain America girl, my dad was Dead Pool, and I was Bat Girl. My mom dress up different than us because she was not a superhero. My mom dressed up as Wednesday White from the Adam´s family. When it is about two days before Halloween we always go to a Halloween party. At the party when it is twelve, we have a Halloween contest. This year when we went to the Halloween party my mom and dad won the contest for a trophy. My dad won best superhero/ villain, and my mom won best female. Then a couple days later it is Halloween and we go trick or treating at my cousins big neighborhood and we get a lot of candy. When we get back home we eat some of our candy and then we go to bed. This is what I do for Halloween every year. What do you do every year for Halloween?
The last holiday I am going to talk to you about is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the new world in October 1621. For Thanksgiving my grandparents come down to my house and we have a big dinner. My grandma brings a big pumpkin pie so everybody can have some. Some of the things that we have is turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, macaroni, and pumpkin pie. I help my mom make all of it before my grandparents come over. Then when we are finished and they come over they eat with us. This is what I do for Thanksgiving every year. What do you do for Thanksgiving?

My Life
The time that I start school is 7:30. Also the time that I finish school is 2:35. Throughout the day we learn a lot of lessons but when probably learn about 7 lessons each day because we learn a lesson in all of our classes. During the day when I take breaks, I either got to the bathroom, get a drink, or do other things when I m out of the classroom. While I am i school i learn a lot of things like science, social studies, PBL, ELA, and my unified arts classes.Also at my school learning can be fun sometimes because are teachers can be funny and they can make jokes. I really love it at my school so much. When it i time to go to my 6th and 7th period classes I get excited because it is the end of the day. When I get on the bus in the afternoon everybody is so goofy because we talk about stuff and there is this girl and she makes a really funny voice. When she makes her voice, I start to crack up. This is what I do when I get out of school at 2:35.

My Passion About Animals
My passion is for animals. Some animals that I like is dogs. Dogs are my favorite because this one dog that I knew was so sweet and and I loved her so much. One time when i was at my cousins house and there was this dog that came up into their yard and we did not know who’s dog it was. So we picked up the dog and went around the neighborhood to see if we could find the dogs owner. so then when we went around the neighborhood and we could not find the dogs owner. so we took the dog home and showed my dad. Then now we have a new dog because we have a passion for dogs and the dog needed a home.
Another animal that i like is cat. My family takes a lot of animals that we see or find.There was this one time that I was at church and there was this cat just sitting there and she looked like she had not eaten for days. So we fed her some food that we had. Then we found out that she was pregnant and no one would take her home then. So I brought my dad up to my church to show him the cat and he loved her. So then after church we went home and got something for her to get in. then we went back up to church and got the cat and a couple of days later she had her kittens. Now we have a new cat and kittens because we have a passion for cats and the cat needed a home.
Another animal is a lizard. When my dad and my mom were together they had a lot of lizards. When I was born and I had grown up, I started to like lizards. For my birthday I had a turtle but then it died and I wanted to get a new animal. So we went to the pet store and then I was looking around for another turtle and they did not have the turtle that I wanted. Then I saw this lizard that I thought was pretty and then we talked my dad into getting it. Then we got the lizard and then my sister wanted one and then we got another one for her. The next thing is that my uncle was giving away his lizards and we got them and now we have 4 lizards in our house.

Our Project!
For Emma`s and my PBL project, we are going to go to an orphanage to give them baskets and play games with some of the kids there.
We have some mixed emotions about this because we do not know which orphanage we are going to and we need to figure it out. We are feeling stressed because we do not know what supplies we are going to put inside of the baskets, and we also do not know what games we are going play with the kids there.
We are going to solve all of these problems by emailing some orphanages and seeing if we can go to the orphanages that we emailed. Also, we are going to get the supplies and games by doing stuff for people and earning money. Some things we might do for people are babysit, do yard work, sell lemonade, do a car wash, and walk there dogs if they need somebody to do it because they do not have a lot of time to walk there dog. Some board games that we are going to play are monopoly, apples to apples, candy land, and other board games that we can find at the store. These are some things that we are going to do to get all of our supplies that we need for our project. Before December, we are going to figure out all of this stuff hopefully.

For a picture an attribution is when you take a picture or a song and you copy it and you do not give the person who wrote it or drawn it credit for the picture or song. Every time you take a picture from someone and they did it you always need to put the persons name who did it.What I learned about attribution is that it means the act of regarding something which it technically copying somebody’s work with out giving them credit.It is helpful because I know when to give credit to somebody when I us there image or music.I am very confident about giving credit to the person because I have gave credit to a person before and it is very easy.
